Pippin Privacy Policy

Pippin is a private, on-device AI agent. We designed it so that your information stays on your device. This policy explains what Pippin does and does not do with your data.

Data we collect

We do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data to our servers. BTS Innovations LLC does not operate a server that receives your content. Pippin has no analytics or tracking SDKs.

Where your data lives

On your device. Your chats, agents, memories, reminders, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Apple Intelligence & Private Cloud Compute. By default, Pippin uses Apple's on-device models and, when needed, Apple's Private Cloud Compute. This processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy; Apple states this data is not retained or shared.

Optional features you control

Bring-your-own AI keys. If you optionally add an API key for a third-party AI provider, requests you make with that agent are sent directly from your device to that provider under their terms. Your key is stored only on your device.
Health data. If you use the Wellness feature, Pippin reads health metrics (such as sleep, heart rate, and activity) on your device with your permission. This data is never uploaded and is used only to answer your wellness questions.
Location. If you create place-based reminders, Pippin uses your location on your device to trigger those reminders. Location is not uploaded. You can turn this off anytime in Settings.
Connected accounts & tools. If you sign into a website in Pippin's in-app browser or connect an external tool, Pippin acts using your own session/credentials on your device. You can disconnect anytime.
Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Photos, Microphone. Used only when you ask Pippin to perform a related task, with your permission, and only on your device.

Children

Pippin is not directed to children under 17.

Your choices

You can delete your data at any time in the app (Agents → Memory → Danger Zone, or by deleting the app). Because data is stored on your device, removing the app removes your data.
